Marvin, It almost sounds as though a valve is "dumping" until that higher pressure hits it. I'm assuming you've done the simple things like the filter, checking the foot-n-inch valve adjustment, the control lever adjustment, etc.? Does the tractor lug okay when it does "act right", or is it weak in the knees? Is this problem in both forward and reverse or just forward? Have you tried unhooking those two little bleed lines and blocking 'em off at the transmission to see if it will operate normally just using the mechanical lever? That would eliminate all hydraulic controls upwards of the transmission and tell you where the problem lies; be it either upstairs in the control valve bank or down in the transmission itself. Allan
