I need your help. I see where you frequently have to pull your 450 Farmall to start it. I had some work done on my Farmall Super H last winter. It had no compression and I hired a mechanic to do what was necessary to make it run properly. Well, to make a long story short when I got the tractor back it still did not run right and I had to pull start it sometimes or leave it parked on a hill to pop the clutch to start the tractor.

I have tried to work with my mechanic to address the tractor issues and the mechanic is now saying that my pull starting the tractor had caused damage to the engine. I think he is crazy because we have always done this when we have not been able to start our tractors.

I would appreciate your thoughts regarding this. I am about to go to court over this matter and need additional information our support that this starting method would not cause harm to the tractor or engine. I would appreciate any information you could share or just your experience over time.
