You've already got the 12 volt battery, and the 12 volt coil. Now would be a good time to purchase and install a 12 volt alternator. The alternator will be much less expensive than rebuilding the 6 volt generator. To convert the lights to 12 volt, all you need to do is swap out the bulbs. Presto, you're done. The tractor now has lights, and you can do away with the battery charger.
