Buy it. The TA is important , It makes the tractor much more friendly and is a main positive feature. For the mean time it will work more or less forever in direct becausw the TA clutch is not being manipulated, it just drives through. Repairs do require splitting, but can be done for (in most cases ) reasonable $ for the ramp/rollers only. JimN
