Guess I missed your original post, Jim. I don't always get on here everyday anymore. Definetly a good idea to get the oil sampled once a year. Just gives you piece of mind. You've got some impressive results there. Small coolant leaks into the oil can be hard to catch. Avoiding prolonged idling will definetly help prevent fuel dilution. The way those things smoke at idle, you just know there's got to be some unburned fuel washing down past the rings. It would be interesting to sample the oil on our 786. That 358 has 9000 hrs. and still performs like new. Our 826 would have easily got to 10,000 original engine hours had it not been for that sleeve o-ring rotting out.
