Howdy Gene,
The loader works as it goes up and the bucket moves. Our contention that it is plumbed wrong is because of several things.

1. It is very slow going up and even though we topped off the hydralic fluid, it does not go up all the way.
2. It goes down by gravity only.
3. It has no down pressure when you get to the ground level.
4. The small return line that runs along side of the left piston has no hose attached to it and the one on the right is attached by a T to a line running UNDER the tractor.
5. There are extensive use of pipe fittings rather than hydraulic fittings.

Wish I lived near IC. We are up in Butler County. Maybe I will try to use a digital camera and get some pics of what I mean and put them somewhere online that I can let everyone see. We need to do work anyhow on the lines because they are leaking in places so we want to do it right. We got the tractor and loader from an elderly man that buys them and fixes them up. He has customized quite a few things on the tractor and the loader as it is (ie: loader frame has had a cutting torch applied on the inside of the horizonatal frame towards the front). He did a nice job on the 3 pt blade.

Thanks for the input and I will try to get a few pics. We have asked around and there may be a grumpy old guy that can come take a look (term used was nephews term LOL).

In this area of Wisconsin, most crops are raised to support livestock production or dairy herds in various forms. Corn products were harvested for grain, and for ensilage (we always just called it 'silage'). Silo Filling Time On dairy farms back in the 30's and into the first half of the 40's, making of corn silage was done with horses pulling a corn binder producing tied bundles of fresh, sweet-smelling corn plants, nice green leaves with ear; the ...
