I have 3 H heads the same way. The casting #s on top of the head have been ground off, and the part # for a gas head has been stamped on the side with hand stamps. I think the dealers may have done this when the converted the tractors to X1 (Gasoline engine.) The X1 on the serial # tag has been added also. Maybe they milled the heads down to increase the compression. ken
