My father in law has a Super H that's been doing the same thing for at least 35 years. The gage needle "tick" occurs every other crank revolution. Suspect it's a chipped or partially broken tooth in one of the pair of gears in the oil pump (which turns at 1/2 crank speed). Figure so long as the motor runs OK and the average gage pressure stays up where it is, I'd not be too concerned. BTW I've seen ticking oil gages on other healthy engines too - a U-9 power unit, a MinneMo UB and on a Chrysler "slant six" in a combine - guess it's not that unusual.
