At one stage I thought my gauge wasn"t working properly so I immersed the bulb in a saucepan of water and slowly brought it to the boil. At the arrow the temperature was 200°. At the bottom end of the green it was 180°.
When burning distillate or kerosene the Owner"s Manual says to keep the pointer on the arrow by adjusting the radiator shutters. Sid.
