Does it have a "pumpkin?" In other words, is it an axle salvaged off the rear end of a pickup truck? If so, you're only looking at about 6000 pounds. Even if it is a 10,000 axle, you may not want to put that much on a single-axle trailer if you plan on going anywhere at any speed. Single axle trailers are bouncy and unstable compared to tandems.
