actually i don"t understand why you want to switch. there is nothing wrong having a mag. i myself when i get a tractor without a mag i put one on. nothing worse then a dead battery but with a mag and a crank at least i can go again.

As I grew older (7), it was the thrill of my day to ride or drive on the tractor. My Papaw had a 1954 IH Super A that he bought to replace a Cub.
