If you're looking to buy one of those rare Behlen or M&W pumps, don't buy it to use. Rare, no parts, and not suitable for a loader. Better to put it on eBay, make a hefty profit, and use the proceeds to buy a NEW factory-style live pump for your M. That way you won't be stuck with an unrepairable, unusable hunk of junk. If you're talking about a belt-drive pump, then it's not a real "live" pump. It's an old power steering pump off a pickup truck that someone cobbled together. Don't waste your time. Also, if your M isn't a 1950 or newer, you will need to change out the front engine plate, front cover, and timing gears to add the factory live pump.
