I drained and cleaned out the hyraulic pump on my H last week. I put 6 quarts of non detergent 30 w oil in it --- we have mild weather here in the South. If you are in cold places, then the book recommends you go back to 20 or 10 w depending on OAT. The 6 quarts made the new 3 point hitch do full swing...so I quit filling...it might hold some more. I was told on this site to pour it in and if it were overfilled, it would come out the vent hole of the filler cap when you actuated the system....messy but no fowl--sounded like good advice to me so I started pouring.
