When I did my 51 M I had the same problem. Used a whole can of PB Blaster on it and forced grease in from underneath by zerks fitting and the used a 4# sledge to drive it in (wood between hammer and metal) and a crow bar to push it back out. after several ins and out it started to move easier , greased it well and works great now.
