Your post got me thinking of why I DO NOT WANT THE FORD TRITON 6.8 L V 10 IN MY NEXT RV. They (and even the smaller 5.4 I read) are bad to blow spark plugs right out the threads, they use aluminum heads n only have a few threads to hold them plugs (Darn Fords lol). Some re tap them without removing the heads n glob grease on the tap to try n catch shavings but Id be afraid of that myslef. John T (NOT a Ford lovin kinda guy, prefer the old reliable 460 in RV's, they break exhaust manifold bolts and the water pumps are a *&^%$ to change, but DO not leave ya stranded with blown out spark plugs)
