Super A adjustable front end repair

Hey guys,
I posted a question on here before Christmans but was called away to Alabama for my mother-in-law's funeral that same day and cannot find my post anywhere. My Question is this the adjustment holes on my front end have become elongated over the years and now bot spindles pitch back instead of running strait up and dow. What is the preferred method of repairing this? I have thought of welding up the holes and redrilling them or installing bushings inside the inner tube holes. My Brother-in-law suggests I oversize the holes but the tractor has just been restored and I would like to retain the stock look of the tractor. This design was not the best but it is what it is and I like the look of it. Was the diamond front end offered in the Farmalls or just the industral model? Thanks in advance for any replies.
