oil pressure on 1941 H

I know this has probably been addressed before. When plowing with my H this fall. My oil pressure gauge ( brand new from OEM)would be just above the red area and when the tractor would lug down just a little bit it would go into the red area. It also goes red when I let it out in road gear. I've been told this is normal I would appreciate more feed back
