Paul: Is that B-414 gas or diesel? This sounds like a classic case of poor battery cables and ends. Those cables should be 00 guage with soldered on ends. Even broken caseing on the cable will loose current.

You say battery as singular, if the 414 is diesel it should have dual batteries or at least equal cranking amps. If you been cranking that tractor and it's diesel for two years now, and if it is and has been shy on cranking amps, I suspect your battery is done. Like Jim said, it has voltage but does it have cranking amps?
