Good Afternoon, I have a 1943 Farmall H that is use for mowing and pushing snow on my 7 acres in South Dakota. Recently, we received about 8 inches of snow and my old H would not start. It did not surprise me because the battery was getting weak. I put in a new battery and it started right up, I moved the snow and parked it. Then we received another 6 inches of snow and the old H was dead. Nothing. It would not even turn over. I checked my connections and they appear to be OK. I don't know whether to think it is the starter, the pull on/off switch or the push button starter switch. The old H has been converted to a 12 system. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Where should I start? Thank you very much.
