make sure there's no whining when using the hydraulics under load (something heavy in the bucket). Check the dipstick, make sure the fluid isnt milky, that indicates water in the oil. Also check the hydraulic fluid for a milky appearance. Check the antifreeze, ammeter to make sure its charging. Check the loader over for bent arms, cracks, excessively leaking cylinders... Check radiator for green spots indicating leaks. Check oil pressure. You know all them good things..
