Hi Jason, how many times have you changed the hydraulic filter? How is the hydraulic fluid level, dose no harm to overfill dip stick level by 2 to 3 gallons. My brother had a hired hand drive around with parking brake on, on his 684 but was lucky by changing hydraulic filter frequently the filter removed all the harmful bits. I believe that if the hydraulic filter becomes clogged there is a bypass mechanism that will allow the bad bits to go thru the complete hydraulic system. Maybe Bernard Le Mechano will see your post and answer your questions as he worked at IH on many of these Doncaster build tractors. Good Luck JimB
