McCormick 10-20 Clutch

I have a 1925 McCormick-Deering 10-20. The last time I went to move it, I was not able to get it into gear. I would push in the clutch and try to shift and the gears would just grind. I checked the free travel of the clutch petal and it is right where it is supposed to be. What else should I check? Do I have to pull the clutch? If so, how big a project is it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
