Hey ronee, Don't get intimidated by what someone says it will cost or how much work it is-I have found that these guys, collectively, know more about red tractors than Case IH ever did. They will be very helpful with any problem you have. You DIDN'T talk abut the engine or tranny so if those are OK you can get the pto clutch assembly rebuilt and to check out the TA (torque amplifier) just pull the handle back for low speed and push it forward for high. Tranny works the same. If back- don't go down hill without brakes because it freewheels. Check everything out and look through the posts or do a search on this site for ur tractor to see what others have had to do. Post a pix if you can figure out how and get set to learn more about your tractor than you might expect. Gook luck.
