The only power steering Farmalls I ever owned were 560, 504, 656 and 1066. I'm a farmer, if I didn't own it, I never experienced it. Try one of the mechainc folks here at YT, they have seen it all. On your fast hitch, the MTA deck was not drilled for the 400 fast hitch. After the new fast hitch came on the 450, many IH dealers ordered in new hitches and retro fitted them on MTA tractors. It is possible to install a 400 type hitch if you install the 400 deck or transmission cover.
