Once the grill is off,He will see a large nut on the front of the bolster on the steering.Remove this nut,pull the steering shaft apart at the joint by the center support,(this usually means loosening the lock collar below the steering wheel and pulling the steering wheel up a couple of inches)Then the steering shaft will screw right out of the front of the upper bolster.There are a couple of bolts that come up into the bottom of the radiator.And the brackets that can be seen on top.Its really pretty simple,but things can be tight when theyr'e 50to60 years old.
