Mark, My Wards hammermill was a belt driven one originally. I think both Wards and Sears changed suppliers over the years for their equipment, so mine may be by a different manufacturer than yours. Mine is easy to change screens. You just loosen the big wing nut on the front and tip back the upper part. The screen slides out the front and just slip the new screen back in. You can change screens in a couple minutes. The hammermill my dad had was a larger one (I don't remember the brand). I know the Super H didn't have any problems pulling it. I didn't think anyone even had ear corn anymore as it seems everyone combines corn now. Glad to see someone still picks corn. Roger
