Hi Wayne, is the 444 gas or Diesel? We had B414, 434, and 384 all Diesels on our farm as loader tractors over the years. The 444 is same tractor and fits between 434 and 384. Neighbour had a 444 Diesel. All very reliable 40HP tractors. Only problem is cold weather starting, requires a very good battery, all glow plugs working and a block heater to start below 0°F. The ones that we had in Canada were build in UK but I believe they were also shipped in parts to U.S. and assembled there. Major difference is Delco Remy vs Lucas electrical system and maybe a swept back front axle. Don't know going price. JimB
