The best thing to keep the water out is hard work. The oil gets hot enough to steam the water out. Next best thing is to keep it in a shed and make sure there is a good boot on the shift lever if you leave it sit outside. Is this just to use to remove snow or do you use it in the summer also? When you changed the fluid are you sure you got all the water out? Can't believe it would build up that quick if it were clean 2 months ago. Can't remember for sure but there are about 3 to 5 drains to drain all the old fluid out. Gary
