I am trying to add a pair of remote hydraulics connectors on the back end of my 340U. It has two HydroTouch valves bolted along with the Fasthitch valve and relief valve all together into a manifold, under the dash. Each HydroTouch control valve is piped to a pair of connectors on the sides of the tractor. These will both be used to connect a loader. Each HydroTouch valve also has two pipe plugs underneath that close off hydraulic ports. According to the Parts Manual, the original IH remote hydraulics option had hoses tied into a pair of these bottom ports. Here’s my question: does anyone know if those bottom ports are live high and low pressure, or are they controlled by the HydroTouch valve? That is, would I have to hold that HydroTouch valve down to send pressure to the remote output, or would it always be “hot”? I’m planning to use the remote to power a log splitter. Just trying to figure out what I need to do. Thanks
