I loved our 656 Hydro dearly and was sorry when we had to sell it, but even I have to admit that it was a gas hog. It seemed like it was always sitting in front of the pump waiting to be filled up. The year after we sold it, and bought a 105 HP 806 Diesel, we found that we saved a lot in fuel costs. That Hydro is awesome for light work, but whatever you do, don't be tempted to use it for heavy tillage work. Just using it on the plow one spring aged that transmission immensely. Was great for baling, raking, moving bales, and cutting.
