hello, last year i got a hiniker off a 1466 to put on my 706. i dont know if the floor from a 1066 would fit on a 706, but i didnt get the floor from the donor tractor anyhow. there is about a 6 inch gap the width of the hood under the windshield you will need to fill. on the floor there is a 3 inch gap on either side, in the back this goes out to about 8 inches on both sides. also my batteries were to tall to go under the floor plate, so i got shorter batteries that sit on the original trays, just outside the cab. it sure makes it nicer plowing snow and feeding round bales in weather like we are getting in ne pa right now! i havent been around ih cabs much so im not sure how much different one of them would be to rig up on a 706. nate
