cdf: I'm missing something here, if the engine is in a Super C, then why would you be trying to find out if it is in fact a Super C. Is it the engine your and your questioning whether it belongs in the Super C. Well the part number 354898 R1 is indeed a Super C engine block. It is also a Super A engine block after serial number 310300. The only difference in the two applications will be the Super C has 3-1/8" bore sleeves and matching pistons, while the Super A will have thicker wall 3" bore sleeves and matching pistons. If that is what your trying to figure out, shut down the computer and grab the wrenches, as that is the only way your going to find out for certain. Take the head off.
