Dude, cut it out man. It ends up being a little more than you expected and now you"re ready to quit? You and I have similar backgrounds. I too was in the Navy, my grandfather ran Reds, and I always wanted one, but didn"t really know enough as I should to try to restore myself, or even a proper work space or storage area. That said, even after a failed semi overhaul, a complete overhaul at the machine shop, $2000 and still not back together yet, I have no inention of giving up. All the hard work and $$ invested will just make it that much sweeter the day she"s finally painted up pretty and running smoothly. Don"t care a wit about resell value, as my Grandad has been out and layed his hands upon mine, so it"s special now and won"t ever be sold. I think you"d regret it more if you sold it than the pain of what it takes to get it the way you want it. Just my $.02 worth. Hope you stick it out. There"s lots of us out here in the same boat, if that helps any. Brian
