Back in the 1970's Dad had a 240U he did some custom mowing with, and it had the "industrial" 3-point hitch. The lift arms dis not move laterally in an independent fashion, and it was a PITA to hitch up implements with it...which meant that Dad usually kept the brush hog attached all the time, which limited the "utility" of the 240 "Utility." He sold the tractor, with a brand new SideWinder 5x5 rotary mower attached, in Clark County, IN and never saw that one again.
