I don't have as many problems with the spray nozzles as I do the pick up tube inside the can. The tube will plug with pigment solids at the point where it enters the bottom of the pick up tube if I don't remember to shake the can vigorously before I press the nozzle. Shaking the can causes the pigment to be be re-suspended in the paint solution and not caked in a layer in the bottom of the can. Once the pigment is evenly suspended in solution then it is alright to press the nozzle.
