A while back I purchased a wide fron end from a guy not too far from where I live. I am restoring a Farmall 300 and he told me tha it would fit. Two days ago, when I was trying to put it on, I found that he was either mistaken, or lied to me. The back support bracket is 2" wider than the frame of my 300. Would this be the bracket for a 400 or something? Would it be easy to find and change or to the correct bracket or should I cut this one off and refab it to work? Also, I could not get the steering plate to bolt up to the shaft on the tractor. The holes do not line up but I though they were the same size on all those sizes of tractors. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
