Everything worked before the restoration. It was quite a chore to get the rockshaft arms touch control levers freed up; there was a lot of rust. So mechanicallly everything worked just like it should before the restoration. The fast hitch cylinder was not repaired before restoration; it didn't look like it was leaking. The only thing removed during the entire restoration process was the two hydraulic lines that run under the seat from the fast hitch cylinder to the block just in front of the seat mount. After restoration everything worked fine up to the time when the fast hitch cylinder was taken off for repair and replaced. I'll try getting it to work with the filler plug removed.
