I am goign to go look at a 400 diesel and im not sure what to look for. I am told that it does run but is not being used anymore and the guy wants to get rid of it now. So I know the usual things to look at are the TA, tires, tin. But I dont know much about diesel is there a way i can tell if the engine is good. I know alot about gas ones but when it comes to these I dont know a whole lot. From what iv read they are expensive to rebuild and so forth when compared to a gas version. My other guestion is what is a fair price for one of these? if it does run and the tires are useable and all right tin? I havent a clue where to start. Thanks very much Andrew
