cleanlisess is Next to godliness on these old carbs......I only have one H that will leak if left off for more then 3 min. So I always shut off the gas even on my tractors that work fine. Remember when grand dad had to use horses he had to take time to feed the horse and get it ready to go out into the field, these old tractors have nothing to prove......just take the 3 seconds it takes and shut off the gas, its that easy....ya it does suck when you get on the tractor and you forget to turn the gas back on... especally if your fat like me. but i guess getting off the tractor to turn on the gas on isent that bad. but clean the heck out of the float valve and remeber it just takes somthing you cant see to screw it up. A person can drop the valve and get it dirty. take your time and do it wright it will save you time in the end....
