If you go with a set of rings from the dealer you will probably get cast oil control rings. They work well when the sleeves are in good shape and give good service life. When I put rings into engines with used sleeves and pistons I perfer steel oil control rings which you will get from aftermarket suppliers. They seem to offer better oil control on less than perfect bores.
