Heyseed: I think a weak TA must be much like a broken zipper on the fly of your trousers, Or a broken oak toilet seat that pinches your backside every time you sit on it. Plain and simple they are all toast. I personally only ever had one TA go and worked perfect until one day it slipped in low range. I've had countless other farmers tell the same experience. Once they slip it's game over and time for a rebuild. I've never been able to comprehend the term weak as in TA, they don't heal on their own. Must be a polite way of telling you it's toast.
