Re: 2404 / 404 transmission cover leaking fluid

I will check the fluid level again. I may have it overfull. The level plug on the 2404 is on the left side in back of the axle. The plug looks like it has been in there a long time. There are no set screws above the PTO as that is where the 3 pt hitch is. Thanks for the tip on the gasket maker.
