Look on the underside of the cylinder. There is a pin there that has to be removed before the plow will work. This makes the cylinder float instead of being rigid. With the pin in the tractor will lift the rear end up enough to cause it to spin out before the plow gets in the ground. May this late in the season the ground is to hard for the plow to go in.
