"What joke are you referring to. I made no joke. I have a 484 that dad bought brand new in 81, and have worked on some for neighbors. I do know what I am talking about. No 484 ever built had glow plugs in them. They do however have ether assist on them. I suggest that you study up on some of these tractors that you know nothing about, before offering advice that is wrong. No offense meant, but IH tractors did evolve some over the years." For no offense ment that was pretty offensive dude. Calm down spanky its all good. Your obviously not around cars and stuff much. There is a joke about starter fluid button but never mind you wouldnt get it. I though you were telling it like that not serious. Oh and ether in compressed form in a can on a hot engine! Real smart. Sure its not a primer system with fuel not starting fluid? Primers have been around FOREVER and still are. My saws and weedwackers still have them. I came here to learn, get help and when I can offer advice. All net advice is to be taken with a grain fo salt less your a fool. Sorry for thinking this was a open minded community with intent to teach and help. I dont know much tractors, just started. But I built my first car engine when I was 15 and it was a blue print job not some hack together block. 351m to be exact. So hey whatever....I wont help or offer advice any longer Ill send them your way! Between this and the reverse batt thread...you guys arent exactly coming accross as a friendly bunch.
