Tell me, I've been there, but the guy that stole my Allis-Chalmers went straight to town and asked the Chief Deputy to help cover him, which Deputy Swine did! They both had been laughing it up about it at the coffee shop, and me and the Sheriff were the only ones around that didn't know where it was! When I got wise to it, I hired a truck to show up at the courthouse early in the morning and told the Sheriff that they were going to go get it and bring it back or I would have all thier a$$es, and it was back home before noon. The County Attorney said he would not press charges unless he thought he had at least a 50% chance of winning the case. I found it, the guy admits he took it, Deputy admits he helped, they went and recovered it, and NO CHARGES FILED. Guess they didn't have ENOUGH EVIDENCE. I will tell you what, those filthy lying pukes stick together.
