Mike: It scares me too. But, you asked.... The downside is this: If you agree to his terms, then you need to be fairly certain you can honor them. That means you need to come up with the $$$ to have that H "running and pretty again" (your words) as well as a way to get it to and from the show next April, wherever that may be. That is going to involve some fairly significant amount of money that you say you do not have - and which you are going to have to come up with in less than a year. So, if you don't perform, are you going to be ready to hand his tractor back to him in one piece? Is it not more important to be a man of your word than to possess something you probably can't afford right now anyway? Put another way: Don't promise a man to do something if you don't stand a good chance of actually doing it - and from what you have said, you don't stand much of a chance of doing it. mike durhan
