You can't sell your kids

That"s what the guy told me. Referring to his tractors. He can give them away to a good home, but he just can"t sell them. His name is Ira, and turns out he helped start IHC Chapter 14. He and his father bought the "42 H back in "54, and it"s been in his family ever since. He"d rather give it away to someone who will take care of it than sell it to someone who may scrap it. Which is why he"s offered it to me. He doesn"t care how long it takes to get it show ready, he just wants to drive it one last time. He said he"d probably have a tear in his eye when he does it. Anyway, he"s going to look it over this weekend and see if he can get it running with a small gas tank. He"s also going to look through a bunch of parts bins he has to see if there is anything it can use. He thinks he has some steel wheels for it, but I won"t use them. So, we"ll see what happens next. The saga continues.
