Bob: I'm not 100% certain, however I briefly owned a SM I bought from the original owner and it had double bead. I also bought a front end off a SH that had been traded in by the original owner and it had double bead rear rims. That is really all I have to go by. I have seen this subject on here before, and some of the folks involved are still around here. I'm sure if you post the direct question, there will be an answer. Oh, there was one other, I drove 120 miles one day to look at a Stage II SH. It turned out being what I call a piece tractor. It was stage II front end, however it had band brakes and 40s style 38" tires. He kicked me off the property before I chance to check codes.
