Fastenal has 3/4 inch Acme threaded rod that works great for wheel weight bolts. It has 6 threads per inch and is a flat top thread so sliding the weights on and off doesn't damage the thread like on other bolts. It costs alittle more than regular threaded rod but it's worth it. Cut it to the right length but be sure to add for the nut on the inside and the nut on the outside if you want to leave the bolts on the tractor. If you cut two of them alittle longer it helps in getting the weights on. I hang 6 weights on with this rod and when the nuts are tight nothing has gone wrong.
