Not the first or last time this will happen to someone. I tried to buy a '57 Chevy pickup about 12 years ago from a neighbor who has three of them parked side by side. I offered more than it was worth at the time... "Nope, I'm going to restore that one, put one of the other ones on a modern 4x4 frame, and use the third one for extra parts." Needless to say, they are all sitting right where they were 12 years ago, albeit a bit further in the ground. Took me 5 years of patience to get my Dad's H back from the relative he sold it to. At least when he was ready to sell he called and gave me the first chance at it.
